Crew Transfer Vessels

The Diverse Marine range of offshore wind crew transfer vessels has been developed from over ten years of offshore wind vessel design and experience.

The vessels can accommodate 24 industrial personnel alongside 4 crew and will deliver the highest standards of safety performance, technical availability and ultimately ‘time on turbine’ for offshore wind technicians.



12m Chartwell Daughter Craft

12m Offshore DC/Nearshore CTV

Diverse Marine works with Chartwell Marine to produce pioneering daughter craft that are amongst the greenest in the industry, with inboard propulsion systems fitted with IMO Tier 3 exhaust after-treatment to reduce emissions. The Daughter Craft can serve as a nearshore CTV as well as an offshore daughter craft operating from an SOV/CSOV mothership in conjunction with a single point lift davit system. The design has been extensively tested using CFD model testing and tank testing to develop a highly efficient craft that can perform at a higher level than its peers, providing high levels of passenger comfort during passage with several motion softening features, along with a high bow with low propulsor that ensures class leading access levels.

13m Amphibious CTV/Workboat

Deployable to Shallow & Drying Projects 

Diverse Marine was selected to build the first of class vessel from a Chartwell Marine design for Commercial RIB Charters to meet the requirements of their client on the East Coast, UK. The integration of the vessel included a bespoke amphibious system that considered vessel weight, wheel sinkage, traction etc. Propulsion options can include diesel/sterndrive, diesel/waterjet or diesel outboard.

Diverse Marine Storm Class CTV

Storm Class - offshore wind crew transfer vessel

The Diverse Marine Storm Class CTV has been developed using 20 years of experience of such craft in combination with designer, builder, multiple CTV operators, wind farm developers and prime contractors to meet O&M project requirements.

Extensive CFD has been carried out develop the hull form that incorporates an ultra-fine entry for excellent head sea performance and tower access but with high reserves of buoyancy above the main chine to provide for equally good following and stern quarter sea keeping performance.

The hybrid CPP version of the successful Chartwell 24 design features conventional Caterpillar diesel engines driving hybrid Servogear gearboxes with a Danfoss e-motor input enabling diesel or electric or electric boost to the shaft lines. In mode this offers silent, zero emissions operation for port operations and loitering coupled with excellent fuel efficiency from the CPP shaft lines and class leading bollard push or ‘push on’ capability.

The Diverse Marine 27m Supa-SWATH eCTV has been developed from the successful Walker Marine Design Supa-SWATH range to meet construction and O&M project requirements.
